FURNITURE RESTORATION AND CONSERVATION


 I restore all types of furniture, including chairs, tables and cabinets. My workshop is designed to accommodate all sizes of furniture and larger items which pose specific problems.

I preserve as much of the original item as possible, restoring items to their best, whilst preserving and conserving their patina using materials and techniques which are compatible with those used in the original. Timbers are selected very carefully to match with the existing surface. I also recreate completely new surfaces, using certain polishing techniques. I make my own wax to use on furniture that needs it.

I also provide single copy antique reproduction.
